Sac Chefs are Part of MOSAC's Wine Tasting and Culinary Arts Event 4/26

MOSAC's SECOND WINE TASTING & CULINARY ARTS EVENT for 21+

Wine, food and science enthusiasts will want to mark their calendars for Saturday, April 26 when the SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity (MOSAC) hosts its second annual 21+ night at the museum, SIP AND SUPPORT, benefitting MOSAC. Attracting prestigious wineries from Central to Northern California and respected chefs, the event sold out in its inaugural year, establishing it as a “must-do” for the region’s food and wine lovers.

The evening will unfold amid MOSAC’s interactive exhibits. The museum’s halls will be lined with a broad array of California wineries, offering tastings from well-known and harder-to-find wineries. Pulitzer Prize nominated jazz artist Harley White Jr. will infuse the night with his major cool factor and New York vibe. Guests will be mesmerized by MOSAC’s planetarium theatre, which will showcase film shorts about our magnificent Universe. The Citizen Hotel, as the official Partner Hotel for MOSAC’s Sip & Support event, will provide discount rates for ticket holders.

VIP ticket holders will enjoy special culinary demonstrations by Chefs Patrick Mulvaney (Mulvaney’s B&L) and Brad Cecchi (Canon and Franquette). Known for their dedication to Sacramento’s Farm-to-Fork legacy, Mulvaney and Cecchi will demonstrate how guests can elevate their home cooking using locally produced ingredients. The exclusive dishes will feature exquisite Tsar Nicoulai Caviar, paired with J Winery’s fine Cuvee sparkling wine.
