Akron Police are investigating the shooting deaths of two people Monday night in an apparent murder-suicide.
Officers dispatched to perform a welfare check at a home on South Highland Avenue found the bodies of 26-year-old Elliot Aletesa and 44-year-old Jessica Violand.
Both victims were found in one of the home's bedrooms.
