Poll Says Most Voters Want AG To Enforce Audit Law

A new poll indicates that over 80 percent of state voters want Attorney General Andrea Campbell to enforce the audit ballot question.

Voters last year approved a measure allowing the State Auditor to conduct a full review of the state legislature.

Around eight percent feel the AG should not enforce the audit, and eleven percent are not sure.

The poll was conducted for the Fiscal Alliance Foundation, a nonprofit group that promotes fiscal responsibility and transparency in government.
