With the specials recently and the documentaries, the 50th anniversary specials for Saturday Night Live have been great and I'm sure this new exhibit will be on that same level.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame just announced SNL: Ladies & Gentlemen...50 Years of Music, a big new exhibit that's coming in May. Think about all of the great performances and musical moments on the show, with U2 and James Brown and Nirvana and Billie Eilish and David Bowie and the list goes on and on. Plus in the sketches too, like The Blues Brothers, D**k In A Box, More Cowbell. There are so many things that could be a part of this exhibit!
Along with all of the photos and videos and props that people can see, there will also be an edited down version of Questlove's movie Ladies & Gentlemen...50 Years Of SNL Music that will be shown throughout the day.
This sounds awesome. I want to go and see it! SNL: Ladies & Gentlemen...50 Years of Music will open on May 23rd at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and you can read more about it here.
