WES FROM PUDDLE OF MUDD ARRESTED

Wes Scantlin of Puddle of Mudd was arrested for alleged felony domestic abuse and drug possession in Torrance, Calif.

TMZ reports that Scantlin was arrested after a verbal argument with his girlfriend turned physical, leading to a police call to their apartment.

Scantlin was arrested just after 4:00 a.m. and released on bond, with upcoming court appearances scheduled for March 28 and April 15.

Scantlin has had multiple run-ins with the law over the last decade, including a tense standoff with police in 2024, but Puddle of Mudd still have shows booked through June.

ZZTOP DRUMMER LEAVES FOR MEDICAL REASONS

ZZ Top drummer Frank Beard is stepping away from the band's current tour for health reasons.

In a statement, the band says Beard will "attend to a health issue requiring his focus in the near term."

His replacement has been announced as John Douglas, a "fellow Texan and longtime tech member, percussionist and drummer."

He previously played with ZZ Top in 2002 when Beard had an emergency appendectomy.

ZZ Top's Elevation Tour is ongoing and scheduled to run through the end of August.
