The Palm Beach County School District confirms it is reviewing its DEI policies.
Superintendent Michael Burke says they want to "ensure compliance with evolving state and federal guidelines."
The review comes after President Trump issued a series of executive orders dismantling diversity, equity and inclusion programs nationwide and the Department of Education has threatened to withhold federal funding if these programs continue to be operated in public schools.
The school district employs Keith Oswald as its Chief of Equity and Wellness, but it's not known whether that position may be eliminated as part of the review.
