We're learning more about the arrest of actress Lindsay Lohan's father in Palm Beach County.
Michael Lohan was taken into custody on a probation violation linked to a charge of continuous violence against a family member in Texas.
The actress' father was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff's Office last month after his wife called and said Lohan was stalking her and showed authorities the bruises she claims he gave her.
The woman says she is in constant fear for her safety and according to court records that was not the first time. She has been reporting abuse at the hands of her husband since last July, including an incident in which the alleged victim claims Lohan choked her.
This is not the first time he's faced charges, Lohan was arrested and convicted in Palm Beach back in 2021 on charges of patient brokering, accused of bringing drug addicts to treatment centers in exchange for illegal kickbacks.
