Cole Swindell confirmed his next ballad is slated to release at the end of the week.
The award-winning country star’s announcement arrives just a few days after he shared a sneak peek on social media, and commenters said they’re “obsessed already.” Swindell’s “Spanish Moss” will make its debut on Friday, March 28, he posted with another snippet of the unreleased ballad on Monday (March 17). It’s Swindell’s latest song to release since “Forever To Me (Our Version),” the romantic ballad that served as Swindell’s wedding song when he married wife Courtney Little Swindell. The singer-songwriter has also recently released “Kill A Prayer,” “One Day,” and more.
“Took the top off the Bronco/ Left it in the garage/ Disappeared in the night like camouflage/ Oooh, I was holding you/ Under that ocean moon over Georgia/ Setting that Shenandoah mood/ Should’ve known better/ June don’t last forever/ I don’t know about you, but I ain’t forgot/ You had me falling for you, baby/ Hanging off me like that Spanish moss.”
Swindell recently announced that his wife is pregnant with Baby No. 1. The parents-to-be posted a gender reveal last week to share that Baby Swindell is a girl. The “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” star is one of several country stars welcoming a baby in 2025. Others with babies on the way include Lauren Alaina, Jordan Davis and more.
