------ Anfernee Simons scored 22 points and Toumani Camara added 21 points and seven rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers snapped a five-game losing streak with a 105-102 victory Sunday afternoon at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
Anfernee Simons scored a game-high 22 points, Toumani Camara finished with 21 points and seven rebounds, and Deni Avdija added 19 points, six rebounds, and six assists.
Toronto built a 15-point third quarter lead thanks to a 21-6 run, but Portland scored the final 10-points of the third to cut the deficit to five entering the fourth.
The Trail Blazers took control of the game with a 16-2 fourth quarter run finished off with a three-pointer from Simons that put Portland up by five with 1:34 to play.
Later in the fourth, the Raptors called timeout with the Trail Blazers holding a three-point lead at 105-102 with 5.5 seconds left. Matisse Thybulle who made his season-debut on Sunday blocked Orlando Robinson's three-point attempt to seal the win for Portland (29-39).
Donovan Clingan continued his impressive play on Sunday. He finished with five points, 14 rebounds, and three blocked shots.
Jakob Poeltl led the Raptors with 19 points and eight rebounds and Ochai Agbaji scored 19.
Up Next- The Trail Blazers will play the second of a back-to-back Monday night at Moda Center against the Washington Wizards. The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM.
