BOISE, Idaho - The Fresno State women's tennis team dropped their conference road opener against Boise State on Friday afternoon at Boas Indoor Tennis Courts, 5-2.
How it happened
Fresno State opened with the lead after winning the doubles point. Charlotte Gisclon and Paulina Montiel defeated Kershner/ Marruffo, playing the best of a tiebreaker set. Matilde Magrini and Sofia Pizzoni clinched the point against Shah/Schaefer seven games to five.
Broncos' made up ground to take the lead in singles. Pizzoni, Montiel and Andjela Lopicic dropped their singles matches for a Boise State, 3-1 lead. Gisclon earned the second point in the match, defeating Shah in three sets, her first singles win of the season. Magrini and Dunbar fell in the final two matches in three sets.
