The Baton Rouge area is urged to remain weather aware today with a severe weather threat over southeast Louisiana.
"The timing for severe weather will likely be from Saturday mid-morning through the early afternoon. Thunderstorms will develop and move east by mid-morning. Strong to severe thunderstorms, hail, damaging wind gusts up to 60+ mph, and tornadoes will all be possible," said the Louisiana First News Storm Tracker Team.
There have been 23 reported tornadoes overnight across four states.
