Some of the best burgers can be found in local eateries tucked away from the hustle and bustle of packed city streets inside hidden hotspots.
Cheapism compiled a list of the "best hole-in-the-wall burger joints" across the U.S., the small but mighty eateries that might not be as "glamorous" as the highly-touted chains and popular establishments but that still pack a major punch with a bite you'll be thinking about for many meals to come.
According to the site, the top spot in all of Colorado is Crown Burgers. The burgers at this Denver restaurant are packed with flavor, but the menu is filled with plenty of other incredible options as well. Crown Burgers, which has a 4.6 star rating on Google and more than 3,000 reviews, is located at 2192 S Colorado Boulevard.
Here's what Cheapism had to say about this beloved hidden gem:
"Crown Burgers has been around for 29 years, though the retro interior's bright yellow molded booths suggests longer. Don't skip the Royal burger topped with a pile of thinly-sliced pastrami and whatever fixings you want. Steak fries and fat onion rings are musts on the side."
