An arrest has been made as the Omaha Police Assault and Homicide Units investigate a homicide.
Officers responded to 7th and Bancroft Streets Wednesday night , where they found a 46-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds.
Omaha Fire paramedics took her to an emergency room with life-threatening injuries, where she was later pronounced dead.
Police say a 51-year-old woman was taken into custody at the scene, booked for second-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
