Search Intensifies for Missing University of Pittsburgh Student in Punta Cana
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic – The search for Sudiksha Konanki, a University of Pittsburgh student missing in Punta Cana, has intensified. Konanki, 20, was last seen with Joshua Riibe, a 24-year-old from Iowa.
The FBI, Dominican National Police, and Loudoun County Sheriff's Office from Virginia are all involved in the investigation. Surveillance footage shows Konanki walking arm-in-arm with Riibe, who has given authorities multiple versions of his story.
Authorities are conducting extensive searches on land and water, urging anyone with information to come forward. Konanki's family and friends remain hopeful for her safe return.
