As president Donald Trump continues the crackdown at the border, ICE officials today announced a shocking discovery from the 4-year Biden border crisis.
Since Trump took office in January, ICE arrests are already outpacing the arrests that were made in all of 2024. And it turns out, the Biden administration had been "cooking the books" on its numbers.
At a news conference today, ICE Director Todd Lyons told the media they uncovered the fraudulent data from the Biden administration, and that quote: "They were purposely misleading the American people by categorizing individuals processed and released into the interior of the United States as ICE arrests."
"A comprehensive review was done internally here with ICE. We found tens of thousands of cases that were recorded as arrests when, in fact, these instances were illegal aliens that were simply processed and released into the American communities," he said.
As noted by Fox News Digital, officials noted that the difference between these recent arrests and those from last year is that ICE is actually taking enforcement actions on each and every illegal alien arrested.
