The owner of a London comedy club has announced a ban on audience members who have had Botox injections.
Mark Rothman, owner of Top Secret Comedy Club, says many performers have complained to him that too many faces in the audience are unresponsive and it's hard for them to gauge their reactions to jokes. To ensure lively facial expressions, Rothman will require all patrons to undergo an expression check at the door. If they're able to smile, they can stay. If their face is too tight to crack a smile or frown, they will be asked to leave. (The Independent)
