A Northampton County man is accused of killing his wife. Bethlehem Township police say James Frank admitted he slit his wife's throat Tuesday morning then attacked her with a knife and hammer to make sure she was dead. The victim is identified as Deborah Glaser. Police say they received a call from a family member to do a welfare check in the 2100 block of Third Street. When officers arrived, they found Frank, who told investigators he killed his wife and that her body was in the bathroom. Investigators say they found knives, razor blades, a box cutter, a hammer, and a mallet near the body.

The disappearance of a Palmer Township teen two months ago is not considered a criminal matter. Northampton County District Attorney Stephen Baratta says investigators Aubrey Wu ran away from home back on January 10th. The 14-year-old Easton Area High School student was last seen the next day along MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township. In a statement released to the media, Baratta says, “At this point we are cautiously optimistic that this matter will remain a noncriminal investigation, as there has been no evidence uncovered that suggests otherwise.”
It turns out the Northampton Area School District's superintendent isn't resigning after all. The Northampton School Board has voted to rescind Joseph Kovalchik's resignation, as well as the resignation of his wife. Kovalchik was set to retire effective July 1 after 15 years as superintendent, but he has now agreed to stay on to ease the transition for his successor. His wife, Terry, will remain a reading specialist.

The proposal calls for a 13,467-square-foot store and 143 parking spaces, with 50 of those for cars and 93 for trucks. The site will feature 12, six-pump fueling stations and four diesel fueling stations. The 13-acre site is currently vacant.
The owner and pilot of the plane that crashed Sunday in Lancaster County is Matthew White. Reporter Elise Person says residents in the retirement community where the plane crashed are thankful nobody on the ground or in the plane was killed. "Fortunately it didn't go into a building. It was so close. I think we were blessed that nothing else happened," one resident says. We're now being told that White pulled his family members from the plane's wreckage. White suffered critical injuries pulling his wife and children out of the plane. He and one of those children remain hospitalized in critical condition.

The deadline to apply for your 2021 tax refund is April 15th.
Those reports a month ago that the Philadelphia Eagles would not go to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl victory were wrong. "April 28th, I can confirm that the Philadelphia Eagles will be here at the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl victory. I know there was a lot of fake news about an invitation that was sent or wasn't sent. We want to correct the record. We sent them an invitation, they enthusiastically accepted and we will see them here on April 28th," says White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
