The Gerald R. Ford International Airport is adding a new airline this year.
Avelo Airlines will offer nonstop service to two new destinations.
The low-cost airline announced service to Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina will begin on May 23.
The airline will also offer flights to Lakeland International Airport in central Florida starting June 13.
