Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang won the coveted Podcast of the Year category at the 2025 iHeartPodcast Awards, which returned on Monday evening (March 10) to SXSW in Austin, Texas.
Hosts Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang delivered a video-recorded acceptance speech. Rogers said “this is crazy,” and Yang said it’s “such a shock to us, truly,” to earn the fan-voted honor. The duo spotlighted the entire Las Culturistas team as they accepted the honor and thanked fans. Las Culturistas promises “an unforgettable journey into the beating heart of CULTURE. Alongside sizzling special guests, they GET INTO the hottest pop-culture moments of the day and the formative cultural experiences that turned them into Culturistas,” reads the description of the pop-culture, comedy podcast.
Throughout the 2025 iHeartPodcast Awards, honorees included award-winning journalist and Good Game with Sarah Spain host Sarah Spain (2025 Social Impact Award), Dan Taberski (2025 Audible Audio Pioneer Award), Daniel Alarcón (2025 Innovator Award) and many more, spanning tons of podcast genres (including business, food, fitness, true crime and others).
