Dan Beyer: "Yesterday was about your seniors having the chance to be honored and to represent them in front of the home fans as a college basketball player, not even just as a Michigan State Spartan. That's why I have such a problem with the Michigan players doing this, it had nothing to do with them. They weren't disrespecting Michigan. It had nothing to do with Michigan at that point until they made it about themselves."
Monse Bolaños: "This was a 20-year tradition. It's not about you, Michigan, and there's no disrespect at all. Even if the Spartans had lost, the seniors probably still would have wanted to do that. If I was a Spartan, I would be out there SWINGING!"
