The city of Grand Rapids is asking for help with designing a statue in Heritage Hill Park.
The city says it is partnering with the Heritage Hill Association to commission a sculpture that incorporates the character of the neighborhood into the artwork.
Artists of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to apply.
Special consideration will be given to artists local to GR.
Three finalists will be chosen and a winning design will be picked by public vote.
