Randy Herman Meisner, the American musician, singer, and songwriter best known as a founding member of the Eagles and Poco, would have turned 79 today. Sadly we lost Randy in July 2023, due to complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Meisner's main role was the bassist and backing high-harmony vocals in the Eagles. He is best known for the Eagles hit song "Take It to the Limit", which he co-wrote and sang. Meisner was inducted into the Rock Hall in 1998 as a member of the Eagles.
In his memory, take a video trip down memory lane.
