A Montrose-area man is dead after being stabbed, and his girlfriend was taken into custody, according to Houston Police.
The 71-year-old man got into an argument with the 53-year-old woman at his daughter's home on West Alabama near Mandell about 2 am Saturday.

According to police, the man complained to the woman that she was making too much noise, then she stabbed him with a knife.
Houston police were called to find the man lying on the ground in front of the home, bleeding from a shoulder wound.
He was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The woman then fled and police found her at a nearby apartment.
That woman told police she found blood on her hands but didn't know how it got there.
Charges had not been filed against the woman as of Saturday evening.
Investigators said later Saturday that the woman did not live at the home, but had a relationship with the man, and officers had been called to disturbances at that home in the past.
