1 Killed After Driver Drove Northbound on Southbound Hardy Toll Rd.

Charges are expected to be filed against a woman who was driving the wrong way on the Hardy Toll Road in the early hours of Saturday, resulting in a fatal collision.

The 26-yeaer-old woman was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of the toll road near Aldine Bender about 4 am when her vehicle collided with another.

The driver of that other vehicle, described by Constable Mark Herman’s office as a 45-year-old man, was killed in the collision.

Constable's investigators say they believe the 26-year-old woman was intoxicated, which contributed to the accident.

If that's proven to be true, she could be charged with Intoxication Manslaughter.
