The Clippers Are Still Cursed

The Clippers rolled the Pistons last night on the strength of a 50-point performance from superstar James Harden, but there still isn’t much optimism coming from the fans. Despite making some very strong decisions in the past few years, from changing ownership and building a new arena to acquiring local favorite Kawhi Leonard, they just can’t seem to get over the hump.

Doug Gottlieb: “I can’t think of anything like what’s happened to the Clippers, where you upgrade in owner, you upgrade in coach, you upgrade in players, you get great deals done to get great players, then you update in facilities, and your rival across the way is down, and you still can’t take advantage.”
