A New Jersey woman has been in a war with her homeowners’ association over her emotional support chickens, and she just lost the most recent battle. Lori Smith has been ordered by a judge to remove her chickens and their coop by April. Smith insists that the chickens help with her mental health issues. “I noticed a significant and profound impact in a positive way in my symptoms of PTSD,” she said. However, the HOA said they had to go, and the judge’s ruling came down on Wednesday. Smith says she’s not going to give up. “We’re fighting this till the end,” she said
