This Wednesday was the first day to cast your ballot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's Fan Vote for the Class of 2025 and Phish is off to the early lead with just under 27,000 votes.
Billy Idol is second with just over 20,000, followed by Soundgarden (3) with close to 20,000 Cyndi Lauper (4) with 18,000, and Joe Cocker (5) with 17,000.
The remaining nine are:
- 6) Bad Company - 16,500
- 7) Chubby Checker - 15,250
- 8) The Black Crowes - 14,000
- 9) Outkast - 13,250
- 10) Oasis - 12,500
- 11) The White Stripes -- 11,000
- 12) Joy Division/New Order - 10,500
- 13) Mariah Carey - 8,500
- 14) Mana - 3,500
You can vote once a day through April 21st at RockHall.com.
The Class of 2025 will be announced in late April with the ceremony set for the fall in Los Angeles.
