This coming Saturday is election day in Louisiana.
Voters will choose the state senator in the 14th and 23rd districts.
The 14th district is in the Baton Rouge area, where Democrats Carolyn Hill and Larry Selders are in the running to replace Cleo Fields.
Selders has the endorsement of Fields, who was recently elected to the U.S. House of Representatives.
The 23rd District in Lafayette is the former seat of Jean-Paul Cousson, who was elected to the Public Service Commission.
Republicans Brach Myers and Jesse Regan are on that ballot.
