The Kent District Library says patrons checked out almost 2 million digital books in 2024, passing 2023's record-breaking numbers.
The library recorded 1,953,261 digital checkouts in the Libby app. The amount was a 17 percent increase over 2023's numbers.
KDL Collection Development Librarian Alison Kuchta says the team was thrilled with the results.
Kuchta says this was the fourth-year in a row that the community broke a million downloads on the app.
