In his almost 8 years in office as Governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy has made a lot of major changes to the state that have affected the daily lives of its citizens. From his ban on single use plastic bags, to the sanctuary status he has placed on the state, it has led to New Jersey being ranked 4th in outbound migration. Jack Ciattarelli, Republican candidate for New Jersey Governor, spoke with Mendte in the Morning about what he would do if he wins the Gubernatorial race.
“Phil Murphy’s plastic bag policies, like every one of his other policies, [have] been an abysmal failure,” Ciattarelli tells host Larry Mendte. “It’s time; let’s bring back the plastic bags.”
Ciattarelli is looking to make changes immediately if he wins in November: “On day one of my administration, executive order number one, no town in this state will be allowed to be a sanctuary city and we will not be a sanctuary state.”
