We’ve got big news for INXS fans! The band's fifth album, ‘Listen Like Thieves,’ is getting a 40th anniversary reissue on May 9th. This deluxe edition is packed loaded up with a one-LP and three-CD box set. The highlight is a brand-new 2025 stereo mix of the album by Giles Martin and Paul Hicks on both a CD and vinyl. There’s also a CD filled with previously unreleased session tracks, outtakes, and demos, as well as a concert CD from the BBC archives recorded at Royal Albert Hall in London in 1986.
For fans who prefer a more compact version, there's a two-CD set featuring the new mix along with demos and live cuts. Vinyl enthusiasts can grab the LP with the new mix, and there's also a digital version of the box set available. Check out the demo version of "This Time" on YouTube.
Originally released on October 11th, 1985, Listen Like Thieves was INXS's breakthrough in the U.S., featuring their first Top 10 hit, "What You Need," and it was the band’s first Top 20 album.
