The Houston Astros officially opened Spring Training on Thursday as pitchers and catchers reported, as the team looks to regroup and make another postseason run. Noticeably absent from the team are two of their former stars in Alex Bregman and Kyle Tucker, but some new faces should emerge as potential leaders soon.
Both GM Dana Brown and manager Joe Espada spoke with the media ahead of camp, and were asked about the news of Bregman reportedly signing with the Red Sox. Both guys reiterated the idea that new leaders will emerge inside the Astros clubhouse.
