Funeral arrangements are pending for New Orleans food critic Tom Fitzmorris.
The popular author and broadcaster died Tuesday at age 74 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's.
For more than 50 years, Fitzmorris covered New Orleans's always-changing restaurant scene in newspaper and magazine columns, radio and TV appearances, and books.
The lifelong New Orleans resident is survived by his wife, two children, and grandchildren.
