The Pelicans are hoping to hold on to a couple recent additions.
General manager David Griffin said that New Orleans plans to retain new acquired Bruce Brown and Kelly Olynyk beyond this season.
Griffin praised both players for their veteran presence, high basketball IQ, and floor spacing as characteristics needed around star forward Zion Williamson.
The Pels are last in the Southwest Division at 12-41 and will look to snap their nine-game skid when they host the Sacramento Kings tonight at Smoothie King Center.
