McDonald's will soon bring back its iconic Snack Wrap items, along with several other additions to its menu.
The popular fast food chain revealed that the Snack Wrap would return in 2025, along with an emphasis on more poultry items, following the success of its McCrispy sandwich, during its 2024 Q4 earnings call via PEOPLE.
“We're excited about the significant opportunity we see within our chicken portfolio and see the potential to add another point of chicken market share by the end of 2026,” McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski told investors.
Kempczinski told fans that they could expect McDonald's to "launch a new chicken strip offering" sometime in 2025, though he didn't confirm whether it would be under the same moniker as the popular early 2000s Chicken Selects, though the original crispy Snack Wrap contained a smaller portion of Chicken Selects along with lettuce, cheese and special sauce wrapped in a soft shell tortilla. The restaurant has already kicked off 2025 with an advertising campaign featuring WWE superstar and A-list actor John Cena for its $5 Meal Deal value offer.
“McDonald's is a global phenomenon, a slice of Americana and certainly has been a major part of my life with food ever since I can remember anything about food," Cena told PEOPLE about his partnership with McDonald's.
