Today on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington react to a report from NFL Insider Dianna Russini that the Jets demanded Aaron Rodgers report to voluntary minicamps and stop appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, if he wanted to remain with the team.
Brady Quinn: "You can't mandate a player to be at voluntary workouts... It's kind of dumb to let that become public...
The second issue with it is, you can't dictate to a player to not be a part of the media... That's also protected within the CBA. So already, in their early on tenure for the New York Jets, they're stumbling over things that are within the collective bargaining agreement."
Jonas Knox: "They're accusing him and saying he needs to play ball and just focus on football, except they're the ones in February that are already leaking all this stuff to the media."
LaVar Arrington: "And it further fractures the relationship... That's always been New York teams."
