Beyoncé's fans, known as the BeyHive, are frustrated with Ticketmaster over the ticket sales for the upcoming Cowboy Carter Tour. The presale for the "Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour" started on February 11, and many fans struggled to get tickets. Issues like long wait times, high fees, and website glitches made the experience very difficult. Fans expressed their anger on social media, with one suggesting a lawsuit against Ticketmaster. Others joked about the endless CAPTCHA challenges, saying it felt impossible to get tickets. This problem isn’t limited to Beyoncé; J. Cole's one-night show at Madison Square Garden had 150,000 people in line for just 19,500 seats. Similar issues occurred for Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "Grand National Tour" tickets in December 2024. With Ticketmaster and Live Nation dominating the ticketing scene, fans often have few options when demand is high. To help meet this demand, Beyoncé and Live Nation added more concert dates. On February 10, they announced additional shows, including a third night in Chicago and extra performances in London, Paris, and Atlanta. The BeyHive presale is just the first round, with more sales planned for Verizon members and Citi cardholders on February 12, and a final presale on February 13.
If you managed to buy tickets, you’re fortunate. If not, your options are limited. You can look at resale sites, wait for the general sale, or hope for a potential Act III tour in the future. The opening acts for this tour haven't been announced yet.
