With the average cost of a Super Bowl ad coming in at a staggering $8-million for a 30-second spot, ad buyers are hoping their commercials landed, not only during the broadcast but on social media. Those numbers are out, at least for YouTube views. These rankings reflect what people actively went looking for, not what they passively viewed during the broadcast. The most-viewed Super Bowl ads on game day (globally) were ranked as follows:
