Luke Bryan delivered an acoustic rendition of his heartfelt ballad, “Love You, Miss You, Mean It,” “just in time for Valentine’s Day,” he said on Tuesday (February 11).

Bryan first debuted the hit single on the legendary Ryman Auditorium stage in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee, when he performed at the 2024 Country Radio Seminar (CRS). Songwriters Rhett AkinsBen HayslipJordan Minton and Jacob Rice teamed up to write “Love You, Miss You, Mean It,” one of 14 tracks that appears on his latest album, Mind Of A Country Boy. Bryan said the song reminded him of his story with his wife, Caroline Bryan. He and Caroline got married in 2006.

“The first time I heard the song I felt like so many people would relate to it because we’ve all said that phrase ‘Love You, Miss You, Mean It,’” Bryan previously said of the song. “And the fact that the song just talks about young kids falling in love and the challenges of moving off to college and then finally reuniting is kinda my story with Caroline. I hope y’all love it.

“This song was special from the first time I heard it,” he added. “I knew it would resonate. It’s about young love and that whole process of trying to make relationships work through the on again and off again cycles. My wife and I went through that journey during college and I know a lot of people out there have too.”

Bryan recently announced his 2025 headlining tour, the “Country Song Came On Tour,” which includes George BirgeAvery AnnaAshland CraftMae EstesCole GoodwinBraxton KeithRandall KingVincent MasonDrake MilliganAdrien Nunez and Owen Riegling on select dates. DJ Rock will join all shows, per the announcement last month.
