Luka Dončić made his debut with the Los Angeles Lakers last night and it was described as “dazzling” despite some very pedestrian numbers. But he did have a decent night in a big win over the Utah Jazz and Dan and the Danettes react to the hype surrounding this monumental trade. It seems clear the Lakers are getting the better of the deal, especially with Anthony Davis back on the bench with yet another injury.
Dan Patrick: “The fact that Anthony Davis is out for a couple of weeks now with another injury, [sigh] it just compounds the magnitude of that trade...Anthony Davis, if healthy, makes them a dangerous team. But he’s not healthy; therefore they’re not a dangerous team.”
