The HPD says they are looking for the man that assaulted a 7-year old girl as she was walking home from school two weeks ago in the Woodland Heights area.
The attack happened just after 3 p.m. on January 27th, with HPD now searching for 43-year old Carlos Jose Ayala Morales, who has a long history of crimes dating back to 1999.
Ayala was born in Honduras, and has lived in both Houston and Dallas. He's been arrested before here in Houston, after HPD found evidence linking him to at least 10 sexual assaults between 2014 and 2017.
According to our tv partner KPRC 2, Ayala has a pattern of behavior in his assaults of young girls. The victims in the previous cases were girls between the ages of seven and 15 years old who were typically attacked as they walked home from school.
