Sam Hunt premiered a new visual for his latest single, “Liberty,” on Friday afternoon (February 7).

Hunt delivered the single in late 2024, and he said he teamed up with videographer Steven Worster “on a couple December outings” to film the video. Hunt previously said in a statement via his record label: “Liberty is a song that I wrote back during the pandemic. It’s a song that I never thought I would put out, but as time passed, I decided that it was timely and recorded it. I flew home off the road this fall to get in the studio and get it recorded and get it out. So I’m proud of this one and happy to have it out.”

“Give me liberty or give me death/ 40 hours and a day of rest/ Autumn leaves on these county roads/ Grab a hand, y'all, bow your heads/ Bunch of kids, little fertile ground/ Raise 'em up right, pass it down/ Fences keep the cattle in/ But they can't hold the souls of men/ Fences keep the cattle in/ But they can't hold the souls of men”

“Liberty” is one of Hunt’s latest singles to release, along with “Locked Up,” “Came The Closest,” “Women In My Life,” “Outskirts,” “Water Under The Bridge” and more. The Georgia-born country star is also known for hits like “Body Like A Back Road,” “Leave The Night On,” “Take Your Time,” “Break Up In A Small Town,” “House Party” and much more throughout his career.
