So... the deadline to take Trump’s buy-out offer was midnight...I wonder how many federal workers decided they were okay with resigning now and getting pay and benefits through September.
The last figure i saw was ‘more than 40 thousand’ had already resigned...but that was yesterday morning. If you see the final figure this morning, alert us to it. I assume the trump white house will put it out this morning.
They’re hoping for at least 100-thousand federal workers to take it- which would be 5 percent of the eligible workforce-
Postal workers and military members aren’t involved in this offer-
But if they don’t hit their number, well then layoffs are coming, according to Trump’s team. Either way, their plan to reduce the size and cost of this government involves reducing the federal workforce.
Those are all natural questions of the sort that could have been ironed out with more planning-but Trump and Elon musk decided to go a different way: with the ‘shock and awe’ of a basic buy-out offer-and a deadline to say, take it or leave it.
As I say, either way layoffs are coming if they don’t hit their desired number- but it would have been nice to give these workers a little bit more detail related to what they were agreeing to and how this would work.
Meanwhile-the democrats are falling
‘Head long’ into this USAID trap that has been laid for them.
The battle over continuing to fund this rancid agency is fabulous.
I know I’ve dedicated a lot of time to it this week-but this is genuinely the sort of unprecedented, once-in-a-lifetime story that’s going to rock nearly all of Washington dc to its core.
Nearly everyone on the left side of the aisle-and some of them on the right- will be affected by trump and musk’s move to close this rancid, illegal, decades long left-wing funding operation. Most of the efforts being funded out this agency in the modern era have genuinely been anti-American’, anti-family, anti-Christian, pro-globalist. This has been a terrible scam-and crime-perpetrated on the American people for decades. And it needs to end.
And I know the democrats are scrambling and screeching to keep their grift going, but when the average American and most u-s voters learn the truth- they are-not- going to side with the democrats on this one.
There’s no way to justify any of this spending of our hard-earned tax dollars:
Oooo...have you ever seen an Armenian lesbian? Hot, hot, hot...
I’m only through a third of this list-and another third of it is nearly all LGBTIQQ and alphabet nonsense in foreign lands. The Balkans, Uganda, Jamaican. And then...on top of all that spending-which is tens of millions of dollars-
There’s another line about six million dollars for advancing LGBTQQ issues in quote priority countries around the world...
And so- on top of specific, line-by-line funding of alphabet causes around the globe-there’s also just ‘generic spending’ on them. Cuz you can never have enough alphabet spending.
And we taxpayers, and our congress, never approved of any of it. Tax dollars were swapped and sent....to these places.
Democrat leaders flooded the streets of this globe- with our tax dollars...to support alphabet propaganda, globally.
Well, when they weren’t sending money to ISIS and al-Qaeda or Hamas supporters.
That’s all here, too.
This? Is the issue that the democrats think will galvanize the country against trump?
We’ve got to keep this type of spending going.

MARY KATHARINE HAM: There is an old saying, 'that a hit dog hollers.' The dog is hollering right now. We're told waste fraud and abuse is such a small percentage of the federal government's budget and should be easy to deal with that. We're also told that small size of the federal government it is the end of democracy as you start auditing it. Now I would like Elon Musk to bring transparency and be transparent what he is doing, but the fact that Congress has given powers to the executives, the executive has the power to appoint Elon Musk, he's not elected, the focus under him that her talented engineers going through all this crazy code and data, he can also give them clearances. As long as they're telling us where they are up to and then telling us what the government has been up to with these funds, I'm happy to hear what they are doing and I'm happy that we have talented people doing it, which Elon notes might look at conventional wisdom saying you cannot touch that, but maybe we can look at it.
Tens of millions of Americans are happy that Elon Musk is finally tackling this, and i know the polls show that about half of the country thinks he’s being too intrusive and aggressive-
I’m betting that changes once the word gets out on what a corrupt scam USAID really is.
For example: this is new-
Did you hear that- when USAID workers leave the government.... They tend to filter into jobs at left wing activist organizations.
Of course they do.
The Washington Examiner reviewed the employment files and found...just like democrat lawmakers hire liberal journalists to work for them.... Left wing activist groups hire USAID workers to work for them.
Why would that be?
Could it be because they are all part of the same leftist cabal?
That’s it-exactly.
This agency is a rancid stew of leftism. It’s not a legitimate govt program. And it needs to be shut down permanently.
Sect of State Rubio has been put in charge of ‘whatever’s left’ of this agency now that Elon Musk and Donald Trump have largely closed it and put their staffers on leave...
It cannot be killed off without congressional approval, apparently, but it looks like Rubio-can- do just about anything with it that he wants to.
At the very least he can approve every single. Govt grant that’s being sent out of there...to make sure it’s really going to have good causes.
And no, it shouldn’t be funneled to NGOs headed by liberals- like bill gates, and the Clintons, and Soros....
No. A ban on any of those donations should be immediate.
There should also be a ban on sending any taxpayer money to so-called ‘independent news outlets. It should be a journalistic scandal, globally, that so many news organizations have been caught taking this government money-
Given to them by democrats and leftists, of course.
If you wondered by the mainstream media has become the openly biased and left-wing accomplice media over the last 4 decades- this is a big reason why. The people running and working for these news outlets weren’t just unpaid accomplishments, aligning themselves with the left based on their personal political beliefs, alone. They were getting paid to propagandize.
On Wednesday, Karoline Leavitt announced that all federal funding that is being sent to news organizations has now stopped.

Politico was caught taking 8 million in USAID funding every year, but a review by the Columbia journalism review- which still attempts to defend honest journalism- has found:
That! It is an accomplice media, my friends.
And when all of this gets out, the democrats who are defending this agency now- and organizing protests where they shriek and yell about all this unfairness-
They’re going to look like the corrupt asses that they are-to the entire country.
It’s only going to further destroy their brand.
As David Axelrod, Rahm Emmanuel, and others democrat strategists are saying: their party leaders are falling into the dumbest trap that’s been set for them- yet.
They really think they are going to take the side of ‘big govt agencies’ and ‘protecting leftist corruption...…and come out looking good?
Winning more elections?
