Coming off of their new tour announcement, The Black Keys have given fans some brand new music to go along with it: a brand new song called "The Night Before."
"The Night Before" is an uplifting song that will be featured on the band's upcoming new album No Rain, No Flowers, which is set to be released later this year. In a statement, the band's Dan Auerbach said of the track, "It's so groove-based. 'The Night Before' started with a chord progression that Daniel and I came up with and the rest just fell out. It was really collaborative and all came together in about 30 minutes."
Patrick Carney added of the song, "We've never really worked with songwriters like that in Nashville. It's crazy because Daniel was one of the first people I met when I moved to town over a decade ago. But we pushed ourselves to bring in some new co-writers, and we really tapped into something cool with Daniel. We're finishing up the album now and plan to release more tracks leading into the tour."
Along with "The Night Before" comes its accompanying black and white music video, which finds a hotel bell hop and maid breaking all the rules one night as they dance through the hotel's hallways, hide out in the kitchen, raiding a guest's closet and more.
