After the beginning of ICE raids around the country, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy took the mic at a public forum at Montclair State University and stated that he was housing an immigrant. Murphy even dared ICE to try and get the immigrant, before walking back those statements in the following days. Joe Concha, Fox News contributor, spoke with Mendte in the Morning with a warning to Phil Murphy about messing with ICE.
“Six words…do not mess with Tom Homan,” Concha said to host Larry Mendte. “This guy is as serious as a prison fight and as the border czar; if you defy his odds he’ll come in and if he has to arrest Murphy, he will.”
Concha believes that Murphy and any other politicians echoing his thoughts are fighting a losing battle: “If you want to play the resistance and defy Trump here, the public is not on your side and it’s just dumb politics.”
