A tragic incident unfolded in Indonesia, where a crocodile killed a woman and her son. On Wednesday (February 5), Alvina Doki, 64, was washing clothes in the Ledewero River when a crocodile attacked her. Her husband, Gabriel Sinyo, witnessed the attack and attempted to save her by throwing rocks at the reptile, but it dragged her away. A search team was dispatched, but Alvina's body has not yet been found.
Later that evening, Alvina's son, Wilsilius Lomi, 35, joined volunteers in the search for his mother. Tragically, the same crocodile attacked him when he separated from the group to cover more ground. Witnesses saw the crocodile grab Wilsilius before he disappeared underwater. His body was discovered the following morning, just over a quarter-mile from the attack site, with claw and tear wounds on his legs and stomach.
Assistant Police Commissioner Yusuf Tarapadjang confirmed the discovery of Wilsilius's body, which was taken home for burial. The search for Alvina's body continues. This incident is part of a series of crocodile attacks in Indonesia, highlighting the ongoing danger in the region.
