Two suspects are heading to trial for the New Year's Eve shooting of a six-year-old girl.
Police say Tayzhia Hampton, Aaron Wallace, and another woman were celebrating the new year in Omaha during the shooting.
Hampton reportedly told police she accidentally fired the gun toward a house near 26th and Blondo Streets.
A bullet hit the girl in the leg as she was watching TV in her home, causing a non-life-threatening injury.
Hampton is charged with second degree assault, while Wallace faces charges of accessory to a felony and evidence tampering.
