UPDATE: A teen killed after a crash in Hamlin Wednesday has been identified as a Kendall High School student.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim as 16-year-old Joshua Peters of Hamlin.
A teen is dead, after a crash in Hamlin.
Deputies say the 16-year-old boy was driving east on Roosevelt Highway, near Drake Road, when his vehicle went off the road and struck a utility pole.
He was dead at the scene.
Investigators believe he was speeding at the time.
