LSU head coach Brian Kelly disputed comments made by the father of former safety Greg Brooks Jr.
The Tigers coach was alleged to have abandoned Brooks Jr. after he had surgery to remove a brain tumor in September 2023.
Brooks Sr. said in an interview on Monday that his family hadn't heard from Kelly or anyone on LSU's coaching staff since shortly after the surgery.
Kelly responded by saying he had somebody from his staff there "virtually every single day."
The Tigers coaching staff has been accused of encouraging Brooks Jr. to practice despite him showing signs of negative symptoms on the field.
