Morgan Wallen unveiled a new version of one of his latest singles on Tuesday evening (February 4).

The reigning Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year said he’s “trying to figure out what we’re gonna play on tour,” in a video he posted on Instagram. Though he said he likely wouldn’t play this version of the song on his 2025 headlining tour, Wallen sat at his piano and played a stunning rendition of “Love Somebody.”

Wallen released “Love Somebody” in October 2024, one day after announcing the Sand In My Boots Music Festival. He wrote the song with John ByronAshley GorleyJacob Kasher HindlinElof Loelv and Ryan Vojtesak, and it was produced by Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome. Wallen said in a statement at the time that “‘Love Somebody' is a little bit of a new approach lyrically and sonically. I wanted to try something different, with what I wanted to talk about, how I wanted it to sound, and we were inspired by Latin-leaning influences. I'm really excited about this song and pumped that it is out.”

Since “Love Somebody,” Wallen has released “Smile” and “I’m The Problem,” which is also the name of his 2025 tour. Wallen’s “I’m The Problem Tour” rotating lineup will include Brooks & DunnMiranda LambertThomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel as direct support, and Gavin AdcockCorey KentElla Langley and Anne Wilson on select dates.

Wallen is one of many country stars nominated at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards. This year’s show will also pay tribute to the resiliency and rebuilding of Los Angeles following the devastating wildfires affecting the entire community and will drive donations to Fireaidla.org. Contributions made to FireAid will be distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation, for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters. The Annenberg Foundation, with decades of philanthropic leadership in the community, including rapid response, will help coordinate a team to direct funds for the greatest impact.
